3rd rate HMS Foudroyant, Admiral Nelson’s Flagship from 1799 to 1801. As a training vessel she ran aground in Blackpool, Lancashire in 1897 after it was taken to Blackpool as a tourist attraction and a cable snapped in a storm.

The PLA Navy's second Type 075 amphibious assault ship has been tested, with people wearing navy uniforms visible on the deck, seemingly indicating that the ship has moved from factory tests to military acceptance tests. It will be named Guangxi and is likely to be formally commissioned into the PLA Navy by the end of 2022.

RN:
26th Oct,1916 the destroyer, HMS Flirt was sank by German destroyers as she was assisting another vessel, the Waveney II. The only survivors from the crew of around 60, were those off the ship assisting the Waveney II.
