Multinational Force Lebanon - BRITFORLEB (British Forces).
One of the lesser known countries to be a part of the Multinational Force unlike the Americans, French or Italians or even the Lebanese Army. The British mostly played a smaller role while in Lebanon.

There isn't a whole lot of information or photos out there save for a few bits of photos that have circulated or various newsreels where you can often catch a glimpse of British troops. Unlike the other countries the British maintained a very small number of troops. The first deployment arrived in February of 1983.

There they were relieved by a unit of 115 troops which remained in country until the MNF would withdraw later in 1984. Unlike the rest of the MNF the British suffered no casualties during the operations. Though like their counterparts they also faced the same dangers of being attacked by one of the many factions fighting eachother.

After the Barracks Bombing the British would also evacuate alongside the rest of the MNF, when the mission replaced by UNIFIL which had been around longer.
