Politics Shortages all around the world

Omicron has reset back the supply chain just as it looked like was recovering with more international flights cancelled.

It's all going to end in even more inflation . The whole banking sector has been on central bank life support since 2008 . Wholly reliant on it to create the money then for the banks to create the loans for the plebs to take on . Once goods and services become restricted then there's nowhere for the money to go hence the inflation . Normally you'd raise interest rates to stem the flow of new monies but that ship sailed some time ago .

Its kinda silenced or made fools of end of financial system predictors. It has been amazing how they all banded together and simply created debt out of what I would have thought was thin air.
Who knows what tricks they can pull, the never maturing bond was rumored.

I was on the way from one hardware store to another yesterday and passed by the local Ford dealership. The lot was empty to the point that I had to look to see if they were still in the new car business. It turns out that they only have 14 new vehicles in inventory, all but two in unpopular models/trim. The two popular vehicles were priced at over $50k, with one of them being over $60k.

That is happening everywhere mate……..:).

We're short Chep pallets, everything of consequence in this country moves on a chep. Adblue, most of the transport network and a good proportion of the mining and ag industries needs adblue to function. Fertiliser, anything phosphorous based, urea, MAP, DAP, hard and expensive to get.

Europe (including Russia and Turkey).

But Europe per say, excluding Russia and Turkey, has only 3 under construction:
-2022, Slovakia SE, Mochovce 3, VVER-440, 471 gross MWe.
-2023, France EDF, Flamanville 3, EPR, 1650 gross MWe.
-2023, Slovakia SE, Mochovce 4, VVER-440, 471 gross MWe.

If we include the UK, add another 2:
-2026, UK EDF, Hinkley Point C1, EPR, 1720 gross MWe.
-2027, UK EDF, Hinkley Point C2, EPR, 1720 gross MWe.

Looks like North America is way behind again. If these jokers in charge want electric vehicles, they'd better start building a lot of plants, come up with a plan to deal with the waste, and start laying a LOT of transmission wires to the hoods throughout the continent. BTW, where are we going to get all of the necessary copper and aluminum for the wires?

A shipment vanished, another who knows where. Apparently the air freighters are sticking them on ships. You pay for air and get sea.
We are back in the 1800's. Ship sales to pick up the tea...nothing was heard from them again.

Burnt about 150-200 in October - still got about 50 left on the nursery - every time we have compost or anything delivered it comes on a pallet, and they crane it in - I just use them until they disintegrate (found another pile of 10 the other day sheeted over that next doors k-rend had been delivered on)

Even the bulk bags of aggregate sometimes come on pallets, as they don't trust the bulk bags when they are craning them in
