It´s curious, Mendiola is a very small village near my city of birth that has a population of about 200 inhabitants. Having this surname does not link neccesarily this woman with any Spanish ancestor from this village, indigenous people of America in Spanish territoires were baptised with Spanish surnames.

Nancy McCoy, an Army Reserve lieutenant colonel with the 353rd Civil Affairs Command of Staten Island, N.Y., and government civilian Equal Employment Opportunity specialist with the Army Reserve at Fort McCoy, Wis., holds two Army Ten-Miler championship trophies Nov. 14, 2019, she helped win in 2019 and 2007.
