Military-to military exercises, including STEPPE EAGLE 18 have served as an excellent training opportunity to strengthen tactical proficiency in critical mission areas and support long-term regional stability.

27th Aerial Port Squadron Staff Sgt. David Hambly and Senior Airman Luke Miller work to retrieve a dropped pallet with an all-terrain forklift driven by Senior Airman Andrea Garton. Airmen with the 934th Airlift Wing trained from the air, as well as the ground as part of the Patriot North exercise on July 24-25, 2018 at Fort McCoy, Wisc. The wing’s mission is to fly C-130H3 cargo aircraft, both airdropping and air landing cargo and people. The 934th regularly uses Fort McCoy drop zones for airdrop operations to prepare aircrews for real-world operations.
