PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 24, 2018) The San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25) transits off the coast of Peru during a photo exercise in the midst of operations with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Peru. PHILIPPINE SEA (Nov. 17, 2018) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111), foreground, fires a MK 45 5-inch gun while sailing in formation behind the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) during a live fire evolution. John C. Stennis and Spruance are underway and conducting operations in international waters as part of a dual carrier strike force exercise.
