Mine clearance in Ukraine

Andriy of the combined sapper unit of the police department, de-mines territory near the Eastern-Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, Ukraine on October 24 2023 amid the Russian invasion. The unit is involved in the most complex and responsible mine clearance work and includes two sapper specialists Valeriy, 55, from Dnieper, and Andriy, 38, from Lviv, who returned to work after losing their limbs during de-mining near Kherson and Kharkiv.
