Politics Syrian Civil War

Erdogan funded and encouraged rebel groups to start the Syrian civil war in order to overthrow Assad and fulfill his fantasy of remaking the Ottoman Empire.

Nope, this is Assad's own making. If SAA didn't disintegrate along the sectarian lines, this war would have been over by now. However, once again I have to say that Arab states with a few exceptions are nothing more territories, there are tribal identities, but allegiances to the states are weak to non-existent. All of the Arab states have artificial borders drawn by the British and French colonial overlords. Now, what can loosely be called a Syrian territory is roamed by roving bands with allegiances only to the highest bidder. I have no idea how and when this could end since all of the players in the game have no common denominator and outright hate each other, yet no a single faction appear to be able to prevail over the rest.

I agree with everything you just said and I certainly don't hold Assad blameless. He's a murderous two bit dictator like his father. But Erdogan has been fueling this conflict from the start as he is now. He saw an opportunity to gain a foothold on territory which he considers Turkish and aggressively pursued it.

Unfortunately "the left" are pro war as usual, in the election there's no anti war traction with college and youth, all they care about is Trump and getting more bathrooms for non existent genders, oh and pay their debts.
Good news on that last point! The way things are going they may get a chance to put a uniform on and pay their debts.
And smarten up a little too.

Now, now, they have huge number of peace-loving politicians, like this charming lady:

I would add blindly and stupidly. By stupid I mean, had he invaded this area 2 years ago, and built up some defences, he might not now be losing so many people. He has waited to the end game, made a half assed move(he had years to plan this!) and is now losing his rag with pretty much everyone, except Russia - who are the main killers of his troops..... you really couldn't make this SH*T up.

The Rebels may have shot down one Turkish drone by mistake. Still unconfirmed...

They look so happy about it.

They look happy by mistake.

In other news, turkey launched a new military operation in Syria, nicknamed "Spring Shield".

It appears so, according to ANNA.

It appears to me that SAA shot it down while the rebels on the ground mistook it for Syrian case there are claims by the SAA and absence of the video of the "Stinger" launch.

Well, there is that one:

Though, having the Turks shooting down their own UAV would be rather embarrassing.

And how would they have the capability of shooting something down. I sure hope that Turkey isn't giving them their Stinger knockoffs.

No thanks, but we can send nemipuka.

Hillary would have already sent in the 82nd Airborne and trillions of dollars, and her Globalist friends would have cheered at how rich they were going to become, courtesy the American taxpayer and the blood of their sons.

If I'm not mistaken, Trump has already told Erdo in no uncertain terms, if you go into northern Syria, don't try to pull an Article 5, NATO has nothing to do with this.
