NATO is strong but not dumb. Erdofool manoeuvred himself into this mess. Grandeur and such now trying to blackmail the EU to get some cash to finance his imperial ambitions.

Well, it has always been obvious that Erdogan considered and treated the refugees/migrants as a form of bargaining chips.

The Syrian government declared the international flights to (from) Aleppo in the north, north-west and south-west directions closed in the entire range of altitude levels for flights of all types of aircraft, with the exception of military aircraft from today noon to 6:00 p.m. on March 8, 2020.

A lot of drone videos showing successful Turkish air strikes on the Assadists. And where are the Super-Duper Russian upgrades to their air defence btw?

Еxisting SA-22 systems can be upgraded то use a new high-speed extended range missile.

The result.

The S400?
Good question... As of 2020, 4 batteries consisting 36 fire units and 192+ missiles were apparently delivered to Turkey.
But since Turkey asked, not so long ago (last week maybe), for the US to send them some Patriots, one can wonder where these S400, indeed, are.

if they use it to shoot down Russian planes they are hardly going to get any replacement missiles - which makes it a bit of a useless purchase with what is unfolding

Turkey s400 crews training isn't finished yet, they are still in Russia now.

So in a narcissistic power play, Erdo gets the S-400 that he can’t use against the planes which bomb his troops. What a fool! I hope the Turkish people have had a belly full of this idiot.

S-400 is more of a strategic defense system. There is no need to use one on a limited tactical scale. Turkey has plenty of resources to turn rather limited in numbers Russian expeditionary force into a lucrative pile of valuable metals. for whatever number of reasons it's not politically expedient at this point.

French jihadists are fighting in the Battle of Idlib against the Syrian regime. They are following orders from the French jihadi recruiter Omar Omsen, who claimed independence from the Islamic State (IS) group and al Qaeda.
Images show that dozens of French jihadists are active in Syria in the battle of Idleb.

Change we can believe in! NATO will definitely support these perverts
Seriously though, RIP Turkish soldiers. Hopefully Turkey withdraw from Syria soon, there's no legitimate function for them there

Yeah, but strategic defense against who? Greece?

Obviously Turkey can't withdraw, if Edrogan withdraw, he will be label as no dick and pussy head of state and clearly his people will against him and implication of Syrian refugees will flock into turkey and create humanitarian crisis... Edrogan has to finish his objective, clear all SAA element behind the deescalation zone and resettle back the refugees in Idlib and also make sure his soldiers dont die in vain.

Presumably SAA's SA-22 "Greyhound" bites the dust. Which makes me wonder how, seeing it was active it should have shredded any and every UAV in it's range.

Yesterday's airstrikes.

And clashes on the Turkish-Greek border
