In my second day of not feeding the outside cats. I have two little Siamese kittens missing now and that happened the first night. I think it is very strange to see that after what that idiot said. I know the little guys very well and they were very people friendly so it would be easy to get them should they stray. I still have the 3rd one from another litter and it does not wander out. The two black and whites that were same litter with the 2 Siamese are still staying close to the entrance and come in and eat and go out for a few minutes. The 3 little black dwarfs are still coming in and spending most of their time indoors. The little cat from across the street I named Rooster was on the hood of my truck a few minutes ago hoping I would put out food but I can't put it out, I have to keep my word with this police chief or it will snow ball into something that gets out of hand. I tried to contact a shelter 15 miles from me to see if they could take the 8 and they took my name and phone number so I am still waiting to hear from them. The news yesterday in Baton Rouge one of the well known cat shelters has shut down due to no money and one lady has one cat of her own and she is sheltering 7 kittens hoping they can get them adopted out. All I know to do is keep feeding these in the hallway and allow them to go in and out. I am really pissed about the two Siamese but having no way to really know if they were taken or just walked off I can't accuse anyone. I wouldn't put it past this nutcase neighbor to do something that hideous since he was a mortician. You have to be a bit sinister to have that job ! Going to the store at 9 before the heat starts getting unbearable and I'll fill the water buckets at the front. I am about fed up with the hypocrites telling me I can't put out water. Obviously these laws against animal cruelty do not apply to the state or local morons. I spoke with my land owner yesterday and she told me she talked to the mayor and nothing is going on. I figure if the chief spoke to this neighbor as rudely as he spoke to me maybe the idiot will keep his mouth shut and not ever speak to me again. Sure wouldn't bother me since I can't stand the creep to begin with.
Some time in the fall when it cools off a bit I plan on doing some repairs inside and my land owner told me they would buy the materials or even have her husband do the work but I can do all that needs to be done. Already tooling up to be able to do what I need to do. Some floor repair in the bathroom and also in the kitchen in front of the counter. Got to put in a replacement section with a sink hole due to the water from the air conditioner being mounted over the counter and sink, it drained down on the back of the counter and inside the wall until the counter bowed up on the end. I need to repair that floor and while I have the section of counter removed I can repair that paneling and build a good air mounting which it has never had. I had accumulated some used two by fours a couple years ago but just put them on the front room floor. Going to do some ceiling painting also which will make the place brighter and smell much better.
