Oh dear thats my next cruise in July 2024, Croatia and Italy, I will try and win them over with my Natural Mancunian charm :)
 
Had my excitement for the day. Was just about to head for bed when the cat bought in a very alive and very angry rat as long as my forearm. Chasing that little bastard rat around the dining room and kitchen until I got it with a steel ruler.
 
Had a 3 days off, so soon as i woke up after my flight, looked at google maps, pack my stuff and went for a drive... Result

No speeding cameras or patrols. Just a bunch of Hiluxs racing at 140 to 160 km/h like a madmax show.

I was the slowest aa I was chubby running at 120km/h.

Had a pucker factor on one of the mountain pass. Climbing turn at 80, hit a pull of water on a steel bridge and the Hilux fishtailed a bit... Drifting on a bridge is not how I intended to go. However cool my truck looked with the side splash of water

Was supposed to just drive home today, but found a closed road being built and explored it...

Didnt want to risk the clay road with my highway tires and no back up tools and gear like track pads and a winch or even just better tires. Specially on a road where you arr almost along. So I turnes back and went farther south. Leading me to surfers paradise...

After that I went back to my hitel and got some beers. Ill go home tom morning... Oh and realized I had a drone in my truck... Could have guven you better footage. Oh well
 
Been working on this over the last few days, (20th year now,) between painting the stone effect portion of the wall
in front of the house and setting grass seed and fruit trees in the renovated back garden.
Will head tomorrow evening with the good lady wife and bring flowers and candles for All Souls night.

Reading this i just pictured my wife's face in my mind had this happened in my house and it made me laugh very loud :D:p

Kind of you to say so, to me its not about the politic of the time, but, they were some Mother's sons who never got home,
also as I cant get home to my Mother's grave in Ireland often, this has become a substitute, always bring an extra candle for mom on "All Souls" night.

Also a public holiday on first of November and I went to the cemetery for the typical chrysanthemum and taking care of the grandparents graves. I didn’t nearly put as much work as CR being still a bit hobbled but that’s done. There’s also an apparently severe storm impending over the region overnight. Considering how lucky I’ve been this year so far I’ll call it a great day if no tree falls on my car tomorrow.

You can still watch YT movies and such by cutting the URL and pasting it to another site - delete when done. Their extortion attempt will time out in 3 or 4 days.
 
Currently watching an ongoing internet argument about which Glock model is best that was sparked by a thread elsewhere about the new G49 MOS Gen 5.

Dudes don't even know how to appreciate the fact that they have the freedom to have options, and instead want to argue about the models that they've invested and tied their emotions and identities to.

I loathe my community sometimes over something so personally invested into what another likes that they don't like.
