Khmeli suneli (Georgian: ხმელი სუნელი, literally "dried spice") is a traditional Georgian spice mix.[1] It typically contains ground coriander seed, celery seed, dried basil, dill, parsley, fenugreek, summer savory, bay leaf, mint and marigold.[2]

This mixture is an ingredient of traditional Georgian dishes and sauces, such as kharcho.[3]

Can use simple version https://www.imagelicious.com/blog/khmeli-suneli
or if you don't want to be dogmatic just a curry powder with crushed bay leaf.

Kale stew with Mettenden (Mettwurst) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mettwurst

But it is not the raw "Mett" basically consisting of just minced pork onions and spices (here in the south also called Mettwurst - confusion :) ) which is spread on bread but a smoked version called Mettenden (lit. mett ends)

The Dutch Rookworst is very similar to the Mettenden I use.

Next will be pumpkinsoup I need a pumpkin anyway for the kids to carve out a helloween pumpkin. This year it seems they might not be able to go around the streets due to Corona...so we make a halloween party at home...and they can invite exactly 3 friends to not pass the max. amount of persons allowed. I might invent a few "gruesome" dishes for it  like the cut off fingers made out of Frankfurters...

And this page gave me the idea of using white pumpkins to paint a skull on it for example

I ate out and had a full set of Grünkohl for lunch today: kale, roasted potatoes, sausage, cured pork cut. :D

Ha very nice what a coincidence. Here in the south its not very popular not to say unknown in public. You have to make it at home. My father does oftenly a Kohl und Pinkel feast like you mentioned with roast potatoes and all. He has to order the sausages from Oldenburg.

Yep, I was wondering about your "Bavarian" kale stew. ? I'm going with Mettwurst sausage though like you did instead of Pinkel. Kale for sure has lots of varieties up here in the north. The Holsteiners like to add sugar on top (yuck), and I grew up with eating it with boiled potatoes and a white cream sauce (yum).
