Upon crossing the Hungarian border, two Hungarian Mi-24s (serials 334 and 336) escorted the H145s to Budaörs Airport near Budapest. After a short break they flew a short low level flight over the city of Budapest. Late in the afternoon, both H145s departed Budaörs Airport together with the Mi-24s towards their new home base Szolnok where they were welcomed by their new owner: the MH 86.HE Helicopter Ezred 1. Szállitó Helikopter Zászlóali.
The H145s are part of a June 2018 deal, in which the Hungarian Ministry of Defense announced it planned to purchase twenty H145Ms for its armed forces. The H145s are equipped with attack capabilities, called the "HForce" Modular Weapon System. This system offers the Magyar Légierö (Hungarian Air Force) the option to arm the helicopter with 70mm rockets, a 12.7mm machine gun or a 20mm gun. Besides armament, it was announced that the helo's will receive a missile protection package, a fast roping system, an electronic countermeasures system and an electro-optical targeting camera. The contract also includes pilot training, technical training and support. The money involved with the deal has not been disclosed.

and no hangars.....

Perhaps, but in recent years the Hungarian Armed Forces have made enormous progress in modernizing the army. There cannot be everything at a time with limited funds, much richer countries also have similar stumbles.

Edit: some new photos

Hello.. The Zrinyi2026 modernization program...

actually buying German political goodwill,
and laundering money behind patriotic phrases...

This is true, but the sad truth is that 90% of countries do that. This is called "politics". It is good if real potential is built along the way.
Because not everyone succeeds.
