Canadair-Dornier CL-289 reconaissance drone in use from 1990 to 2009. The drone flew a pre-programmed course with the help of GPS and had 199 programmable "events". After the flight it landed with a parachute on deployed cushions.

It had a linescan camera with direct (live) image data transfer to the base station and an infra red linescan camera system.
