Here's some interesting footage from another neat Luftwaffe exercise at Noervenich AB called SNAP 2020 back in September. Though scaled down in size to prevent multitudes of soldiers from catching SARS-2 in the event of an outbreak, the drills feature much of the air force's current equipment (mostly sans ground-based air defence).
The footage is heavily cut and the choreography is confusing without commentary (they couldn't use two air bases as intended so the scenario "jumps" back and forth), but from what I can gather and have read the first stage features a quick reaction alert to intercept a passenger aircraft.
Next up, Noervenich stands in for an air field in some war-torn country. CH-53G's and LUH-145's with light infantry and special forces are brought in to secure the air field which is under attack by Tornadoes standing in as aggressors.
Typhoons arrive at the scene and chase the aggressors off, followed by two transports to evacuate the civilians. Thrown into the mix are some emergencies for the military fire brigade to handle.
Man, that C-160 looks worn. It's high time we receive our Hercs to replace the oldtimers.
