Two Royal Air Force, Joint Air Delivery Test and Evaluation Unit, photographers captured the iconic Antonov Airlines AN-124 strategic airlifter at RAF Brize Norton as it was loaded with British Army Foxhound armoured vehicles and a MAN Truck & Bus Support Vehicle.

It was also a great chance to see how the Ukrainian crews applied chain patterns, loosely based on JADTEU designs to the vehicles.
With a cargo lift capacity of 150 tonnes, the five Foxhounds and a MAN SV, were easily swallowed up by the behemoth aircraft before they left to support Exercise Quick Response.

The Royal Navy has many traditions, and this is up there as one of the most fun. As HMS Dragon (right) took over duties from HMS Monmouth in the Arabian Gulf she carried out a Sail Past. This involves both ships passing each other at high speed whist trying to drown the other with hoses.

Glad to see that the quality of uniforms hasn't improved in the years since I've left. Maybe the Royal Marines moving to Crye kit isn't such a waste of money after all ;)
