3rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment has faced the fire and fury of hostile crowds during riot control training on Exercise Green Fray.

A barrage of missiles, petrol bombs and verbal abusehas tested the teamwork, discipline and courage of the Colchester-based paratroopers as they learn how to defend each other and drive back unruly crowds.

Crowd control is a key skill required by 3 PARA in its current role as the lead infantry unit in the Air Assault Task Force, which is held ready to deploy anywhere in the world at short notice to conduct the full range of military operations.

Interesting photo, I don't think I have seen the full face protective attachment before?

As a part of British Army's Visor equipment update, the "open-top" vehicle crews such as the WMIK and also the Jackal seen in that pic get Revision mandibles as well as Revision ballistic visors for their Baltskin helmets of the same company which was recently adopted as the new standard issue helmet of the British Army instead of Mk.6/7 ballistic helmets . However from the pic its clearly visible that some of the Mk.7 helmets are also attached with Revision equipment too...

In line with the recent developments, such as the most recent update on L85 assault rifle and Virtus equipment program I can say that British infantry became more sharper than their US conterparts, maybe the most well-equipped among the NATO armies expect the Norway or Denmark maybe...

The "Puma-II-18" exercise, which is carried out as part of the international "Saber Strike - 18" exercise, started in Poland on June 4 and on the same day as part of cooperation between the Allied eFP (NATO Enhanced Forward Presence) and Polish 15 "Giżycka" Mechanized Brigade soldiers trained in how quickly and efficiently overcome water obstacles. Joint actions were excellent, and the exchange of experience between subunits allowed to get acquainted with various engineering techniques.
