A very clever and practical way to use limited resources since the military fabrics are oftenly thicker than most of the normal and that makes them perfect to used on medical masks.

The Austrian army's regulations allow for the combining of religious headdresses with the regular uniform, e.g. turbans for Sikhs (see here) or kippahs for Jews. It would be interesting to know though if they purchased some of those Indian turban-helmets for combat missions.
