She has spent most of her life in refits and repairs after years of neglect and trying to make her work with minimal possible refits and repairs. Her hull reportedly has previously manned spaces that can't be used anymore because they are too polluted or too dangerous to work inside due to toxic materials. There were once plan to give her a nuclear powerplant to replace her steam boilers which never happened either.
