The Talib Times Twitter account, which presents itself as the "English language official account of Islamic Emirate Afghanistan," reported on Tuesday:
"The forces of the Islamic Emirate have captured three important areas and passes of Panjshir and we will soon announce the complete victory".
Note: Today this account was suspended by the twitter.
National resistance forces in the northern province of Panjshir, which did not submit to the radical Taliban movement denied the information previously spread by the Taliban that they had succeeded in seizing three regions in the specified region.
This far I didn't see any photo/video evidence to the claims.
The video of the Taliban deployment to Panjshir doesn't show any of the coalition equipment "captured" by the Taliban.
Potential rebel's air force - 12 Afghan aircraft at the airfield in the city of Bokhtar in Tajikistan. At least one of them is the Pilatus PC-12 NG surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft, the rest are Cessna 208s. View attachment 330375View attachment 330376
Taliban goes international.
It is not only Afghans that are fighting on the side of the Taliban. A video appeared in which an Arabic-speaking Taliban announced that he would go to Panjshir with his brothers, "to fight on the side of Allah," and is very glad that he will soon kill the "infidels and apostates" who "are fighting on the side of the Tagut."
The Taliban are transferring "heavy" parts to the Panjshir in International MaxxPro vehicles. Only in one column there are at least 20 of them. View attachment 332174
Look at all of those Maxxpros. The US Army and USMC were scrapping them in Afghanistan rather than fly them back home. Very heavy with little offroad capability.
