Photos Afghan Armed Forces (Prior to 2021)

Now that the Taliban openly control Afghanistan, they are out in the open, and present nice targets for swarms of drones that will one day appear out of nowhere. Be careful of what you wish for. :)

Unfortunately, none of the neighboring countries are what we could described as "friendly" from a NATO/Western perspective.

And just like allowing us to enter their air-space it is unlikely they will allow us to open military installations or use theirs.

Happy news out of Afghanistan today. Al Queda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri caught a couple of hellfire missiles from a U.S. drone.

He's been in hiding for 20 years, but not forgotten.

fantastic! I hope that they have been preserved for a museum, I observed that in Afghanistan they found some FT-17 and that apparently they were sent to the United States, well, if they cannot or do not want to keep their valuable objects, they can be taken as "trophies" and given to them the place they deserve in a museological collection.
