American, British and Polish paratroopers who fell in Operation MARKET GARDEN rest at the war cemetery in Oosterbeek in the Netherlands.
Parachutists of the 6th Airborne Brigade, as every year, honored the memory of the Polish heroes of 1SBS by laying on graves roses in national colors, white or red. The delegation of the 18th Airborne Battalion also commemorated the memory of its patron, Capt. Ignacy Gazurek. At the grave, Bielsko soldiers issued honorary assistants in historical uniforms. Then they laid a wreath and a burgundy beret. During the ceremony, Dutch children also laid flowers, including a delegation of a dozen or so elderly people who, as children in 1945, laid flowers at this cemetery for the first time. Priests representing the denominations of all soldiers killed here participated in the celebrations. The most exciting moment of this event, however, was wreath laying by a dozen or so veterans who participated in MARKET GARDEN operation. Finally, three planes from these events flew over the cemetery.

In September 1944, in the Driel region, Polish 1SBS parachutists crossed the river to support the defending British from the 1st Airborne Division in Oosterbeek.
After 75 years, soldiers of the 16th Airborne Battalion from the company of Maj. Ludwik Zwolański, a soldier who, being a liaison officer, first swam across the river, delivering a message to General Sosabowski, recreated the event in the same place.
On the banks of the Rhine, the crossing was watched by 1SBS veterans, daughter of Maj. Zwolański and granddaughter of Maj. Ryszard Małaszkiewicz, Chief of Staff 1SBS.
The whole event was accompanied by a Parachute Picnic, where you could get acquainted with the modern armament and equipment of the Polish 6th Airborne Brigade, the Dutch 11th Aeromobile Brigade and meet many reenactors from around the world in uniforms and with 1SBS equipment.

On September 25, PIT-Radwar announced the completion of factory tests of 35-mm ABM (Air Burst Munition) programmable ammunition, intended for the AG-35 automatic cannon under the code name "35mm anti-aircraft battery". It fits into the assumptions and needs defined in the "Noteć" program, within which an advanced, short range anti-aircraft defense system is to be selected.
Fire tests were carried out on September 24 at the Central Air Force Training Center (CPSP) in Ustka. They included shooting from an AG-35 cannon to an air target with both school and programmable ammunition. The fire control vehicle WG-35 was also used in the test. Anti-aircraft battery supplemented with, for example, "Bystra" radars, tracking radar and Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Missile Sets "Poprad" can be a complete very short range anti-aircraft defense system.

The AG-35 / A-35 gun was designed to destroy planes, helicopters, maneuvering missiles and UAVs at distances up to 5.5 km and height up to 3.5 km. The system is based on the Swiss Oerlikon KDA cannon with a theoretical rate of fire of 550 rpm, manufactured under license by Huta Stalowa Wola (HSW). The automatic control system is provided by Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów. The gun can operate in automatic, semi-automatic and autonomous modes.
