Those new rifles looked good. Anyone know of the feedback from its users in the field regarding the performance of this rifle so far?

Some user comments have appeared. Fortunately, when signing the order for weapons it was assumed that the design would be improved by the manufacturer on behalf of the user. Hence the M (Model) element in the name denoting the given version of the weapon. For now, Grot C16 FB-M1 varieties are ordered (factory designation MSBS-5,56KA0), but ultimately Territorial Defense Forces were to use the revised model. It was assumed that up to two series of improvements could be introduced to the construction: intermediate FB-M2 and target FB-M3.
Spokesman for Territorial Defense Forces Lieutenant Colonel Marek Pietrzak in 2018 sent a list of the most common damage. It includes: fracture of the tensioner covers (40 cases), cracks in the slider lever (21 cases), firing pin fracture (12 cases), gas regulator missing (6 cases), gas piston lost (3 cases), butt stock damage (7 cases) ). It concerned 5% of used carbines. In August 2019, 1,412 Grot C16 FB-M2 carbines were also delivered to the Operational Forces.

Corrections have been made to Grot C16 FB-M1 carabiners (MSBS-5,56KA0). They mainly concern technical and technological changes that are invisible on the outside (including those that improve the ability to shoot "dry" - without a cartridge in the barrel, by slight modifications to the firing pin and the lock), as well as the introduction of a different stock with adapters to attach the sling.
To date, Fabryka Broni has delivered to the Polish Armed Forces over 28 thousand Grot carbines in the C16 FB-M1 / M2 varieties. What's more, if the Ministry of National Defense agrees, the company intends to complete the entire basic order (i.e. 53 000 carbines) in 2019.

Edit: If I used any strange terms and names, I apologize in advance.

Great pics. Man, I wish we'd bought a couple of those C295s.

Thanks @Conhoon . That was a comprehensive and insightful information. It is still a new rifle and I guess they'll be issues to be fixed and improved on based on performance in the field.

Information about the defects was from November 30, 2018, based on which the M2 version was introduced. In carbines of M2 version changes were introduced. Now, the users will also be parachutists from 6 Airborne Brigade, soldiers of the aeromobile unit - 25 Air Cavalry Brigade and mountain infantry from 21 Podhale Rifles Brigade, and there will probably be more comments arising from the specifics of these units. But this is the normal cycle of refining weapon.

On September 19, 2019, the Armament Inspectorate of the Ministry of National Defense (IU MON) signed a contract with the Mesko company from Skarżysko-Kamienna for the delivery of the Polish construction of 122-mm M-21 FHE Feniks missiles with a high-explosive warhead from 20 to over 40 km ( minimum range of 14 km). The ammunition will go to the armament of the WR-40 Langusta self-propelled multi-rocket launcher, but it is also compatible with the older RM-70 and BM-21 Grad. As emphasized by the Ministry of National Defense, the contract is the first of the next planned to be concluded.
