WOUNDED BRITISH AND ISRAELI VETERANS TO COMPETE IN SPORTING EVENT
Veteran Games to also include a three-day long PTSD conference.

More than 100 disabled veterans from Israel and the United Kingdom will join forces next week in Israel not for battle but in a groundbreaking celebration of family and sports.

The Veteran Games, being held May 26-30 in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem at rehabilitation centers run by Beit Halochem, will see participants compete, try new sports, and learn about how their respective countries provide specialist care for those wounded in combat.

The games will include a three-day conference about PTSD among veterans chaired by Sir Simon Wessely, professor of psychological medicine at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London, and a consultant adviser in psychiatry to the British Army, and by Prof. Zahava Solomon of Tel Aviv University.

You can see two videos and pictures here:

I really want to see that second guy engage a target and display one of the draw backs of the bullpup rifle layout.

Oi F*** off with your hot brass you F***er!
Not to mention what the cocking handle will do to his face, cheek and/or teeth. Granted its probably a staged shot for the photo but I find it funny that it seems pretty common to try and align through the 4x Elcan in CQB when there is a purpose designed RMR/redot sitting on top of the Elcan. strangely enough would partially help clear the face from the ejection port and increase situational awareness.

The new C8s have spread far and wide. Nice to see its not just a case of everyone else getting Hereford's knackered hand-me-downs anymore.

I remember when I was a kid my dad's lot being black affronted when visiting Paras were seen wearing desert boots. They swiftly moved onto what they determined was unaffordable to the unbadged at the time. IIRC it was Danner boots, still probably got some in the loft!
