Because rubber AK-47 replicas are mass-produced in many countries and are cheap. For hand-to-hand combat exercises, crossing swamps or evacuating the wounded in territorial defense units, they are completely sufficient and losing or damaging them will not be a big problem. They are also similar enough to the Ak5 that such an exercise makes sense.Look Close...........those are rubber rifles not real AK's. Adds even more intrigue, why AK's and why rubber AK's???
