Four Viggens in formation in a stunning image by the legendary Anders Nylen.

Saab Viggen a multirole supersonic fighter aircraft.
First flight of the Viggen was February 8th, 1967. Introduction to service was 4 years later on June 21st 1971. 329 Viggens were built solely for Sweden where she served until retirement on June 26th 2007.

When I was a kid, I saw a color photo of Soviet VVS MiG-29 Fulcrum on a good-will visit to one of finnish air bases in the eighties.
