The first prototype of KF-21 Boramae (보라매; Hawk) fighter jet was rolled out April 10 in South Korea.
This marks the most significant milestone achieved by the KF-X Korean Fighter program which was officially launched in 2015. Although the initial plan for KF-X program was announced in 2001, it was followed by more than a decade of preliminary research, feasibility studies, and political debates. This prototype, along with five others, will begin flight tests in 2022.
A 4.5th gen fighter jet with a low-RCS design, the KF-21 Boramae is being developed by Korea Aerospace Industries in partnership with Lockheed Martin and various other Korean, US, and EU firms. Although the KF-21 looks the part, it is not a stealth fighter.
The KF-21 Boramae is South Korea’s attempt to build an affordable, yet capable replacement for its aging fleet of F-4, KF-5, and, eventually, the KF-16. When the KF-21 enters service with the Republic of Korea Air Force in 2026, it will serve alongside a mixed fleet of FA-50, KF-16V, F-15K, and F-35A.

Tests of the active protection complex of the South Korean K2 Black Panther tank.
This system is based on a three-dimensional radar and a thermal imager, capable of detecting approaching projectiles and ATGMs at a distance of up to 150 meters.
The cost of one active protection system is 670 million won ($ 600,000). Since 2006, 40 billion won ($ 36 million) have been spent on the development of the complex.
The active protection complex was tested on the K-2 tank by repeated shelling from the RPG-7 and the Metis-M ATGM.

October 7, 2021 at the shipyard of the Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. (DSME) in Okpo, the launching ceremony of a new rescue vessel for emergency submarines "Ganghwado" (강화도 / Ganghwado) of the new project ASR-II, under construction for the needs of the Navy, was held South Korea. The ship with a displacement of 5,600 tons, named after the island of the same name in the mouth of the Hangang River on the west coast of South Korea, will receive a deep-sea vehicle and support systems that will allow rescue operations at depths of up to 500 meters in difficult weather conditions, including strong sea waves ... The introduction of the new ship into the South Korean Navy is planned in 2022.

The South Korean Navy has published a detailed video of the launch of the nationally developed Hyunmoo 4-4 (K-SLBM) ballistic missile for submarines from the recently commissioned lead large non-nuclear submarine SS 083 Dosan An Chang-Ho of the KSS-III (Jangbogo III) project.

South Korean Armed Forces have several Russian combat systems(Tanks, IFVs, Helos).
I think most, if not all, are a result of Russia being too cash poor and paying bills with weapon systems of marginal quality and desirability.
When the repo man visits, if he doesn’t get cash, he might get the used TV and microwave.

November 9, 2021, at the Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard in Ulsan, the launching ceremony of the Cheonan frigate (number 826), the seventh ship of the FFX class of the second series (Batch II), designated as the Daegu class.
In total, the South Korean Navy plans to have eight FFX-class frigates of the second series. The frigates of this series have a standard displacement of 2800 tons, a total displacement of 3600 tons and a hull length of 122 meters, in addition to the standard two four-container launchers of the Haeseong anti-ship missile system, a 16-charge KVLS UVP is also installed. The hangar of the ship has been increased in order to ensure the basing of the KAI Surion medium anti-submarine helicopter in the future. The frigates of the second series are equipped with the towed GAS SQR-220KA1.

Russian-made T-80U tanks, which were previously in service with the 3rd armored brigade of the ground forces of South Korea, were transferred to the newly formed tank regiment of the "mock enemy" of the Korea Combat Training Center (KCTC) based in Inje (Gangwon Province).
