Yes it has been replacing the AA52 and AAT52 with the French armed forces for a few years now. I'm not sure if all the AA52 's have been phased out or if there are still some units using them.

93e RAP. About 15 recruits of the French Mountain Arillery Regiment went through the "formation d’adaptation montagne initiale été (FAMI)" Initial Mountain Adaptation Taining, climbing school, knot tying lessons, progression on glaciers and via ferrata were on the curriculum.

National commemorative ceremony to honour Sergent Maxime Blasco at the "Dôme des Invalides" in Paris.

Sgt Blasco had the reputation of a fierce warrior knowing no fear. He was highly respected in the "Chasseurs Alpins" community, having saved the life of two of his comrades after a helicopter crash in Mali in 2019. Fair skies Sergent!
