It looks nice, but as far as I know, Iraq has not accepted the third part of the contract. The ship with this miracle of technology returned to Ukraine. Iraq has canceled the entire contract.
It's not just looks nice, it is probably the best "light" APC project among former soviet states and battle proven at that. Not a high bar to begin with but hey. The Iraqi contract which was USA funded was cancelled not due to the fact that APC itself (which was designed by HBKM btw) was bad, but rather due to the fact that manufacturer (Malishev factory) was incompetent. They weren't able to actually supply that number of this vehicles in that time so they rushed with a poor quality steel. Overall the Iraqis were more or less satisfied with first batch, with some negative comment on the peculiarity of combat module functioning and minor constructional peculiarities, also the Malishev factory service was S**t. However, since then the manufacturer has improved and removed many errors. The first picture is actually a screenshot from the ISIS video (which was unfortunately for me deleted), where BTR-4 takes probably soviet era ATGM and several RPGs and survives. And the second one says more about the users than the vehicle itself, Iraqis rarely put them to good use just like with M1A1s. From the 3rd on out is the first battle experience in Ukraine so it normally takes RPGs and light/heavy caliber arms unlike other BRT family vehicles.

Well, if you go to his profile you can see that the last time he visited was on 24/10/2020 and posts stopped on 8th. So yeah, he's probably tired of all the bull that's happening and took a break. Doubt that it's, God forbid, COVID or whatever. I remember him having a Facebook, but I never got to know it. Maybe some older members might know it or maybe mods might know. That is if you're worried enough to seek him out.

On March 2, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense announced the introduction of the 14.5 mm anti-materiel rifle Alligator into its armed forces. The weapon was developed by the Snipex enterprise and is entirely manufactured in Ukraine.

The Snipex Alligator is an anti-materiel rifle powered by a 14.5 mm x 114 cartridge that was developed during World War II for anti-tank purposes. The rifle is designed to destroy lightly armored vehicles, equipment and other technical purposes.
Alligator is a repeatable anti-material rifle with a 5-round magazine.

The total length of the weapon is 2000 mm, the weight of the rifle is 22.5 kg (without a magazine) or 25 kg (with a loaded magazine). The Alligator is equipped with a chrome-plated barrel, 1200 mm long, with eight grooves and a stroke of 419 mm. The barrel allows the acceleration of a 60-gram shell to a muzzle velocity of 980 m / s. The effective range of the Ukrainian construction is 2000 m. The manufacturer states that the Alligator shell can penetrate a 10 mm armor plate from a distance of 1500 m.
The weapon can be disassembled for transport after the barrel has been disassembled. It is covered with Cerakote ceramic varnish as standard.

The Alligator can be disassembled for transport, and a silencer can be attached to the barrel of the weapon.
The rifle is equipped with a folding bipod with adjustable height and three fixed positions. A folding transport grip is attached to the barrel, making it easier to carry the weapon. The design also took care of a good center of gravity.

First time in history Volkswagen destroyed Mig-29. :D

Last night in Kiev drunken pro-regime (fixed that for you ;)) military officer drove to the airfield and crashed into the Mig. Fire significantly damaged both plane and car.
