Warfare HAMAS attack on Israel, Oct 2023 & Iran’s Proxies.

In the consolidation of power after a violent overthrow traditionally the first action on is to eliminate the "brownshirts", or the most radical and troublesome elements of the rebellion.

If you are going to rule as the most powerful gang, then you must make all others (Cartman voice) "Respect my Authority."

The alternative is a never ending red terror type situation with other sub gangs running rampant.

Except it feels like the other way around is currently occurring.

All the minorities getting slaughtered by HTS/ISIS with total impunity, because Ursula thinks he is a handsome man, isn't about getting rid of the most radical and troublesome elements of the rebellion.

Cynically enough, ISIS found a way to conduct themselves like their usual selves by having a figurehead (if Jolani is indeed a figurehead) pinky-promising and saying the magic words the West are so infatuated we "I am reformed, I am very progressive, look, I put women in my government".

Sure, there was hope he would be genuinely that, and that the initial incidents and clashes were simply the result of some unruly elements. And also the inevitable resistance with the groups still loyal to Assad.
Ok.
But they went on repeating themselves over and over again, while sharing a eerily and specific familiar theme: "people" going after ethnic and religious minorities, killing them unceremoniously in gruesome ways, and all the while shouting the oh so nostalgic "Takbir! Allahu Akbar!"

Following on my take vis-à-vis Turkey being an, if not the, architect overseeing what is unfolding in the region:

Yes, it does feel that way. And that is a recipe for chaos given their apparent structuring and the path they are following.

Turkey preparing the space for a full fledged move?

The "starvation" propaganda is in overrdrive now, some 109 aid agencies and "humans rights orgnisations" have signed a letter saying that Gaza is rapidly approaching "famine". Hamas are now giving out daily figures of people they claim have died from malnutrition, and of course the usual suspects are lapping it up. The UK Daily Express is even falling for it with a picture of a kid with a congenital growth disorder mostly likely as a result of first cousin incest (which is prevelant in the Palestinian territories) on the front claiming it's starvation:

As always it's the kids that are starving of course, whilst the adults look like they've eaten several children in recent times...

Meanwhile on the Gaza side of the Kerem Shalom crossing, there's literally almost 1000 truckloads of aid just sitting there as the UN won't pick it up because the IDF refuses their rediculous demands that Hamas escort it and they also provide them with communication devices (that totally won't fall into enemy hands). The GHF has said that they would help them facilitate the aid, but they're being ignored, which basically means the UN and other useful idiots are starving the people of Gaza if anything.

Unfortunately Israel is losing the PR war, and it's probably going to get worse and worse because people are gullible idiots who just regurgitate propaganda like flies on S**t. Of course war is like that, and we all know that eventually the truth will out and it's highly likely as has always been the case that the Palestinians and their backers will find themselves on the wrong side of history... again.

In'shallah!

Also it goes without saying that the events in Suweida were absolutely horrifying and are for all intents and purposes meets the very definition of genocide that some of the Pallybots are conveniently ignoring, just like when it happened to the Yazidis almost a decade ago and none of those hypocrites gave a flying F*** because it wasn't Jews carrying it out. Almost an entire hospital of staff and patients murdered in a very real massacre unlike the Bo*****S that Al-Jazeera et al make up in their wet dreams.

Thank God Israel intervened in the situation, because who knows how many more people would be dead as a result...

What strikes me again and again in our (German) news lately is that nobody seems to remember what triggered this conflict.
Everyone is trying to outdo each other with who criticises Israel the most, but they all seem to have forgotten that there are still hostages in the hands of Hamas (although probably more dead than alive) and that handing them over was a condition for a possible peace... Idiots.

The country is still unstable and full of armed groups, realistically the government needs at least internally-capable armed forces if it want to establish and maintain authority. As in: monopoly on violence and all that.

Except in the case of Syria a "government" monopoly on violence means the death and enslavement of all other groups.

Precisely.

Other groups are "seen" as "obstacle to unity", "nefarious and criminal elements" and "remnants of the Assad regime".

And the Western backers seem to fully agree on these claims made by Jolani.

The Press vest factory is still operational I see.

Or are they EU foreign military assistance?

Oops

Bibi and the diaspora army of Jews just realized that replacing Iran with the Turks might have been their biggest backfire yet.

The Turks suddenly convinced the PKK a group they’d been covertly managing for over 40 years to lay down their arms, all just to keep their military active and sharp for decades. But here's the kicker: by neutralizing the PKK, Turkey freed itself up to focus more directly on Israel. And just like that, Israel lost one of its favorite regional pressure tools(Kurds). Now, all that’s left are about a million Druze, who aren’t exactly queuing up to serve as proxies. Meanwhile, a revitalized Syrian army is rising and it’s shaping up to be a far bigger headache than a few Hezbollah squads or Hamas with their made up stovepipe rocket launchers.

If the Turks fill the power vacuum left behind by Iran I hope they don't operate in the same manor or seek to achieve the same goals as Iran.

I don't think anybody could trust Turkey with this government in power.

You can’t be a business partner, NATO member, arms supplier to Ukraine, pretend to support Palestine, back ISIS fighters in Syria, buy both S-400s and U.S. jets, etc... all at the same time.

Turkey doesn’t owe blind loyalty to either the West or Russia it acts based on its own national interests, like any sovereign country should. That’s not confusion, that’s strategy.

Claiming Turkey supports or back ISIS is not just false, it’s absurd. Turkey has fought ISIS militarily and designated them a terrorist group from the start. Turkey backs Sunni, Turkman and Uyghur groups. I've explained this 10 times on the forum, either slander or willful ignorance keepin sayin ISıs that isis these..

Turkey is not Iran, it doesn't aim to export ideology or dominate the region through proxies.

Turkey’s primary goal is regional stability, especially in areas where chaos directly affects its own security. Unlike Iran, Türkiye works with international partners when possible and acts to prevent power vacuums from turning into long-term conflicts.

A stable neighborhood is in everyone’s interest and that’s what Turkey is trying to ensure.

Turkey has in the past recognized Israel's sovereignty, but it is hard to reconcile the goal of a stable neighborhood with support for Hamas.
