SANTA ROSA ISLAND, CALIF. (Mar. 15, 2019) Seabees from Underwater Construction Team 2 (UCT-2) and Sailors from Coastal Riverine Squadrons (CRS) 3 and 11 deploy divers at Santa Rosa Island, California in 34-foot patrol boats to perform hydrographic survey and pier damage assessment training in support of Exercise Pacific Blitz 2019 (PacBlitz19). This training is the first time UCT-2 has worked with CRS and tests their ability to map areas for small craft landing enabling continued support to Navy and Marine Corps operations. PEARL HARBOR (April 2, 2019) he lead ship of the U.S. Navy’s newest class of guided-missile destroyers, USS Zumwalt (DDG 1000), arrives at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. During the scheduled port visit, Zumwalt will conduct engagements with local officials and organizations. Zumwalt is under operational control of U.S. 3rd Fleet.
