Turkish shipyard develops anti-submarine drone

Is the training similar to the us Air Force pararescue jumpers? Are they special operations capable too?
And I heard that the turkish army basic training is only 4 week’s? Isn’t that a little bit short?

Hello, since the Turkish army is a member of NATO, it receives similar training with the USA. Soldiers in the image are Air Force affiliated search and rescue units. "The main task is to save the pilots and other military personnel who had to jump in the enemy territory or in the enemy sea, regardless of the risk level, to ensure that they return to the homeland safely and to control the movements of the warplanes in a forward position and to prevent the damage of the friendly forces by making the air attack on the appropriate targets during the combat. It consists of 7 people. The team consists of communications, weapons and destruction specialist and advanced air controller. Thanks to the cameras they use, they take the images of the targets and enable the jet planes to determine the targets precisely, and they destroy the target with the help of Laser Markers."

Turkish Special Forces are confusing
they are not that clear separated like us forces. I thought MAK is part of the Army special forces.

I didn't answer one of your questions. In Turkey, every man over the age of 18 is obliged to serve for 6 months. In compulsory military service, basic military training is given for up to 4 weeks. However, these young people are not sent to conflict zones. Tasks such as back service and guard duty are given. Specialized personnel are employed in the task of personnel working in regions such as Syria, Iraq and Libya. The air and navy forces consist of almost professional soldiers.

I understood your question better. Literally special forces are ÖKK and SAT commandos in Turkey. SAT commandos are subordinate to the navy (SEAL for the US), while the ÖKK is a unit directly affiliated to the chief of staff (US for Green Berets). Apart from this, there are units specialized in specific tasks such as MAK units affiliated with the Air Force, JÖH units affiliated with the Gendarmerie and JOPER under the Gendarmerie, which I mentioned above.Hello.
