Land Forces Language School Command
In 1956, established in Ankara-Mamak under the name of Army Foreign Languages School. First language of instruction was English, in 1962 foreign Languages School started teaching in Russian, French, German, Bulgarian, Greek and Arabic languages in addition to English.
Turkish language education started in 1970 for foreign and friendly country students.
In 1973, it was changed again as the Intelligence and Language School and one year later Persian language was added to the languages of education and training command.
After leaving the Intelligence School in 1985, school connected back in the Land Forces Command Military Academy under the name of the Land Forces Command Language School.
Serbian in 1995, Bosnian in 1999, Georgian in 2001 and Armenian in 2004 sections were opened.
Basic Tasks;
- English for Land Forces Command,
- Teaching foreign languages at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels to officers, non-commissioned officers and civil servants distinguished in other foreign languages ordered for all Armed Forces personnel,
- Teaching Turkish or providing teacher training to guest military personnel (MAP) who will be educated in War Academies and Class Schools or who will teach Turkish in their own countries.

Guest Military Staff of 20 friendly and allied countries received education and training with cadets at the Turkish Military Academy for 4 years, contributing to the strengthening of friendly relations between the countries.
