Thanks mate - yes it does.

Joined MP.net way back in 2003 when I was looking for pics to illustrate a presentation I was writing and stayed for the duration, most of it as one of Hood's Mod team. Then swam over to the Mess when MP.net sank...

I'm a Jock by birth but moved around a lot and I've spent longer outside the country than in. Joined as a 'child soldier' back in the 80s, went through Rifle and Recce Tp before they allowed me to spend a few years climbing things. Then I picked up a commission and drifted out of the mainstream Corps into the ISTAR world. Went to all the usual holidays in the sun/rain/snow except the first Gulf War - which I watched from the comfort of a hospital bed. Also did time on exchange postings in France and the US. Been out for 12 years now so I'm a proper stinking civvy!

I share your taste for whisky and bikes so we should get on!
