Hi guys as the title says this new build I will be starting soon.... it's yet to get to me but as soon as it does I will start to post in this link......

Here's the last of my Team Yankee 1-100 scale Abbots (and British Artillery in general, I've nearly sold all my 1-100 scale stuff).

Hi guy's I have received the Abbot today so I took the opportunity to started to get all the parts ready for the build.
It's inportent to say that great care is needed as many of the parts will snap if you are a bit heavy handed as the build is a 3D print.
The design of construction is good and the detail is very accurate.

All the parts out of the box.

Tracks and gun barrel no problem.

Next the side skirts... go slow.

Side cage fairly straight forward.

As for the small cage try to support the cage like in the picture keeping it flat on the pad

Keep the part flat and take your time.

The last part to deal with is all the small parts.

And thank god the end result all parts ready.... OMG the wing mirrors was very tense but I think that I was lucky to get them with out damage.

Next plan to get some parts built and painted in an undercoat.

Im very happy with the all the bits.... Now I'm not know for being patient and I tend to rush in all guns blazing but with these small builds I'll just have to take my time and do it properly.... Now that the challenge

Today i took myself to task to get all the parts sprayed green and once they are dry I will start the build. With this build I don't intend to do any weathering as I don't have the skills and I'm not going to start now.

As we all know that minimal amount of glue is best and if required a light touch-up once together.
I plan to spray black like NATO design Germany and do the tracks and wheels before fitting. The plan is for it to look something like the FV432 that I have done and with all the little wee bits that finishes it off.

As you will see there are some
Jerry cans in the picture... They are extras going on the FV432.

Hi guys the job on the Abbot is nearing its completion it's now painted with only the side track covers to come off now they are painted..... fit the tracks and refit track covers and a bit of fine paint in the areas that need to be done.... The wee bits .

The most heart stopping part is getting the wing mirrors fitted without damaging them as they look good on the finished piece.

As I was painting I got the jerry cans done for the fv432

Will post shortly with the Abbot completed for you all to look at.

Finished with "damage" ....... I lost a right-hand wing mirror in the last part of the build... DAM I hate when that happens.

I chose to close the driver's hatches which would be correct for the gun in firing mode.
