Russian reporters (Anna news and Russia 24 channels) with the patrol.
First patrol was on very limited route, most of the highway blocked by various armed gangs and Turks still can not deblock it.

Polish troops arrive on Greek-Turkish border.

In fact, Polish border guards arrived to Greece on the 13th March.
Their Twatter account is crystal clear about it:

There's some Polish text, but the automatic translation on Twatter does the job.
Here, you have a Polish article with a bigger photo:

Furthermore, Polish border guards have been present in Greece for 4 years, just in much smaller numbers.
Here, you can see a Polish BG helicopter plus a patrol boat off Lesbos. The photo was taken in 2016:

I'm Polish and I'm saying we don't need this picture here. I would not post it, as it is totally irrelevant.
Definitely, Poland is not an anti-Turkish country right now. We are allies and our relations have been very good for about 320 years.

Our Turkish members could easily post something similar from the 15th or the 16th century when the Ottoman Empire won several battles against the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.

We don't need any dick-measuring contest here. We have several very senisble Turkish members who write quality messages. Let's keep it that way.

Let's focus on Syria and Syria-related issues that affect other countries.

Battle of Vienna?
It would apply to many battles in the 15th and the 16th centuries, as the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth won and lost numerous battles fighting the Ottoman Empire. These wars were not a piece of cake for either side and the Polish side lost many battles as well. The Ottoman soldiers were highly-regarded by the Polish side, as they had the capability of carrying on despite suffering big losses. They had a good fighting spirit.

What can I tell you about this photo?
The painter does not have any fvcking idea about Polish winged hussars.
The horses are too bulky\chubby, so they don't look like quality cavalry horses by any standard. The hussar formation is far too loose and the lances are far too short.

This picture is in the wrong topic.

First COVID-19 case officially reported in Syria and rumors about infected cases in Idlib.

Open Syrian civil war thread and see funny Polish winged cavalrymen?!

Back on topic. Russian minister of defense S.Shoigu visited Damascus today for meeting with Assad.

President Assad and Shoigu discussed the situation in eastern Syria and US stealing of the Syrian oil, also the steps taken by the Syrian government to restore security and stability all across the country.

Trivia: After the Battle of Vienna is where cappuccino was invented and named. Also croissants.
