Lol, what happened yesterday serves Erdogan right. Putin judo-threw him on a table, bended him over, bummed him up the arse and rinsed his ringpiece with vodka for good measure, like the Russian bear he is.
Take note, people; that's what a cunning and crafty statesman looks like.

That being said it, nevertheless, shows something rather interesting in term of behavior.
-Erdogan does not listen to NATO, while being a NATO member.
-Erdogan threatens NATO, while being a NATO member.
-Same thing goes with the EU; Erdogan threatens and blackmails the EU, while not being a EU member but occasionally asking to be a EU member.
-Erdogan does not really listen to the US or Trump, though asks the US to sell them/provide them with weapon systems.
-Does Erdogan listen to his people? According to his recent behavior, calling those opposed to the military operation in Syria "traitors", possibly not.

But, apparently, Erdogan listens to Putin. Or, at least, only Putin seems able to have Erdo pipe his tone down.

Putin has the same values and is a person of Erdo's kind. He doesn't use Trump-style diplomacy, twatting random shyte and calling Erdo a fool. He talks to him, may be harsh behind the doors, but is flexible at the same time and allows the Turks to bomb the SAA for a few days, so Erdo could save his face.
Apart from that, he hopes to sell some advanced military hardware in order to push Turkey away from the NATO. Unlike the U.S.A., he will never impose any restrictions on the usage of the Russian hardware. He will not tell Erdo how to use the Russian weapon and whom it could be used against.
So, these two are a great match.

I hope Edrogan just vaporize those Assad army and its allies.. no good make deals with these civilian killer, they will sort peace when they getting squash but ignored other when they getting upperhand... such a loser and not so gentlemen in making deals between man..

The big loser in this "ceasefire" is Erdogan. He made a lot of bold claims in his usual pee-pee waving contest and backed off all of them, hopefully his political rivals took note. He was successful in making the EU realize that they need to secure the border, after his stunt to unleash tens of thousands of migrants/prisoners/whatever on the Greek border as a blackmail scheme on the EU. The new Greek government stood firm, even though many within the EU were pressuring them to keep the border open. Now, Poland, France and hell, even Germany, have pledged to send help to the Greek border.

Assad has learned the lesson of Gadaffi and other deposed dictators. He will fight to the last Syrian/Iranian/Hezbollah/Russian. The whole situation is so sad. The only silver lining in this whole clusterfark is, that it has become a great meat grinder for radical Islamist proxies to sacrifice themselves in.
