I see updated Daewoo K2C 5.56mm assault rifles with Holosun reddot in combo with 3x magnifier, LS42 laser module of the same company also the polymer mags and supressor. New plate carriers which are looking like copied from Crye AVS platform new camouflage with better fabric and cutout, KCI made lightweight modular helmet with rail attachments, MOLLE belts with cobra buckle, AN/PVS-14 nvg clone, SS manta IR strobe, MSA Sordin & 3M ComTac III headsets and ballistic eyewear.
Pretty impressive in consideration of it's actually planning to be adopted for standart infantry issue and surely be a major boost for them since the ROK generally allocates most of it's military budget on more strategic stuff like tanks, armored vehicles, missiles, aircrafts and navy vessels etc.. So it's safe to say that they were kinda neglecting their infantry for a while. I see some of them are still hanging around with Vietnam-era gear like M1 helmets, ALICE webbing and even few of them with M16A1 rifles.
