Moldova has many historical and cultural relations with Romania, from what I have just seen, even the flag is similar, as it happened to the Colombians when the Great Colombia separated, that Ecuador and Venezuela took the same colors but with different dimensions; very interesting

in fact moldovia and romania , was an kingdom untill 1945. we have the same flag , culture , language , history
for many time was anexed by russia who try to change the population ( many of the modavians (romanians at that time) where send to siberia and never come back
after the russian - turk war on 1812 the moldovia was anexed by russia and came back to mother romania after ww1. then in 1940 after ribentrop - molotov pact was anexed again by russia , then in 1941 come back to romania , then in 1945 again is anexed by russia. in 1992 (i guess ) is gained his independence, after that the war in transnistria begin.
in romaani exista another region called moldova
