I had misplaced this one and haven't been able to find it for ages. This morning I cam across it by pure luck!
My Eickhorn LL80 "Kappmesser" unfortunately it is not an BUND "Bundeswehr" issued one. but still a nice knife.
This is the pocketknife I was issued when I joined the army. They never got it back and I have used it for 30 years! I guess that speaks for itself Victorinox FTW!!!!!
Sorry Templar 6, had somehow missed you post! Yes ifnypou have a Bundeswehr issued "Kappmesser" it is definitely collectable. It's hard to tell the value without knowing the beating it has taken, but I would not let it go anyhow. A keeper for sure!!I own one of the issue ones but scratched up. In your opinion are these now collectable?
