Time to lighten the mood.

I can't insert images, only attach files. Is this operator error or something to do with settings?

Basically our fundraising through the year has raised 80% of our needs however, we need a small kick to get us over the line for the next 12 months.
If you can spare the price of a coffee we will be set.

These are what I call real Land Rovers that have the capabilities the rugged originals had. I always laughed when I saw that the Name of Land Rover was desecrated in the American market. Cheap built plastic crappola that was not even close to being a Land Rover. Used a little Buick V6 which was alright but they raped owners in parts cost. It could not use the original starter built for the V6 and the starter used on the fake rover cost 900 dollars !!! It reminded me of my days working at a Buick Dealership which was selling the Peugeot rear engine vehicles, a diesel fuel pump at that time in the late 70s was 900 dollars. I guess they all just got hung up on that 900 dollar amount.

Every M14 I ever touched was a POS. And the scope mounting system sucked. If we ever get centrefire semi back in NZ, I'd buy 50 AR's before I bought another M14.

Interesting.
I never saw IDF using M14 during that period. Border police yes, but not IDF.
They were used between early 80s till mid 90s in the infantry battalions, i recall seeing guys in nearby units with them. They did have issues with holding zero, yet they were far better then their predecessor Mauser 98K that were in REALY bad condition. When they were phased out in favor of the modern M24, about 50 rifles were refurbished and sold in the American civilian market as collector's edition along with original IDF field carrying case.

During my time in IDF, late 90, I only saw M24s in infantry units.
