The camo pattern is commonly known as M05 snow pattern, but actually the M05 refers to the uniforms and gear instead of the camouflage. Though the general public and since FDF PR department have begun calling the camo patterns introduced with the M04/M05 gear as M05 (and the desert pattern as M04), the patterns being woodland, cold weather, snow and arid/desert.
Yes, however the Multicam gear is just for field trials only - but the SF pretty much wears nowadays what they want.
It's supposed to be that if/when the SF decide which gear seems to be the best they would order it in M05 in larger amounts, but due to the constant development that's happening nowadays there's little chance of that happening.
