About post @Milan Mynar (excellent photos mate ! (Y))
Czech Republic signed contract for 62 Nexter Titus multirole armored vehicles. Nexter, a KNDS company, took part July 11 to the signature ceremony of the acquisition of 62 Titus armored vehicles by the Czech Ministry of Defense. Titus is the latest generation of 6x6 armored vehicles designed by Nexter to answer the support and transport vehicles needs of modern armies offering high level of protection, mobility and versatility, as well as controlled ownership cost. Titus mobility chain was developed in cooperation with Czech supplier Tatra Trucks. A “Homeland Security” kit is available, matching more specifically the needs of police and security forces. Nexter’s Titus offers a high degree of protection, with the ability to withstand a 50kg IED blast, which can be increased with an add-on protection kit. The vehicle has range of 700 km and is powered by a Cummins 500hp engine, which offers a maximum speed of 110 km/h. The platform can be equipped with a remote-controlled weapon system.
Titus and Czech Republic MoD’s order is about 3 variants of Titus: command post (CP), transmissions/signals, and artillery fire coordination post. Eldis (CSG Group), Nexter’s partner for this Czech contract, implements the main contract with the Czech MoD and organizes the licensed local production. This order consecrates a successful European industrial cooperation, combining in a balanced manner the know-how of all involved partners.

2; Preparation of motorway for flight operations - painting, cleaning, washing and removal of barriers
3; Equipment needed for operation
4; MIG-21's landing, refuelling, re-arming and take off (timing how long it takes)
5; Simulated bombing run on airport and defending airport 4 against 4
6; MIG-23 landing, refuelling, re-arming (maximum load of weapons to test the abilty to take off)
7; Mild propaganda

Only the WarPac would have propaganda films classified as SECRET...

The Czech Republic is improving the mobility and situational awareness of its ground forces through new command/staff and communication (liaison) variants of the 8x8 Pandur II.

The first four of these vehicles, manufactured by Tatra Defence Vehicle (part of the Czechoslovak Group holding enterprise), were delivered in early March to the 4th Rapid Deployment Brigade in Štěpánov, Olomouc.

They are part of a batch of 20 Pandur IIs (six command/staff and 14 communication) ordered by the Czech MoD in 2017 in a CZK16.5 billion ($650 million) contract.

Designed to improve battlefield communications, the Pandur II command/staff variant (pictured above) is equipped to handle data traffic capacity, and the communication variant is responsible for complete radio traffic.

A Czech Army spokesperson told Shephard that the main advantage of the command/staff vehicle lies in its specialised and highly advanced computers. This vehicle also has systems for secure and non-secure voice and data connection.

To ensure high-capacity data transmission, this variant of Pandur II is equipped with a radio relay link, a system of automatic directional antenna, radio station, directional antenna, omnidirectional antenna and a speakerphone.

I wouldn't say so. You have to realise we have quite small army and there is also other programmes going on such as IFVs, replacement of UAZ and Land Rover vehicles, later we will start programme for a new tank and also we will have to either prolong purchase of Gripens or go for a different aircraft. Some time ago we also came up with a new brigade and loads of other purchases were made. There is an option to buy more birds but so far only these were bought. And also if I understood correctly this purchase is only to focus on sustaining helicopter capability. If we have retired all birds and haven't bought any in the future we would have to build this capability again.

They look really good in that camouflage! ?
I hope for the Czechs that they have acquired more options, though. This is so small a purchase it could've actually been cheaper to buy more of those birds.

Yeah, but the budget is limited considering there are another big acquisition projects going on (new IFVs, 155mm SpGHs with new FCS, new SHORAD systems, UAZ/Land Rover replacement, 2 new CASAs, etc.). The Czech Army is heavily underfunded in the last years, so the MoD and the goverment is trying to catch up. Also, luckily, looks like the Covid situation didn't negatively affected these armament projects (some postponed payments here and there, but that's it, so far). Still, everybody expects purchase of additional Venoms and Vipers in the future, indeed.

Edit: Yeah, didn't see Buschlaid already answered this :)
