@santana you have fulfilled and exceeded all expectations for my request! Love the Bronco and great seeing them still fly in service.

Do these aircraft see direct action against FARC remnants and other militants? Or more supportive non-combat role?

No Sir, they are out of Service!!! They saw a lot of combat against all threats including paramilitary groups.

There was a Squadron of Broncos working for the US Department of State deep inside the Colombian Jungle as eradicators of Coca Fields.

Very cool find @santana! I'm really enjoying the hood data readout, that is a first that I've ever seen. Colombia is an area of personal interest and I'm flipping through a couple books on AUC and FARC conflict at the moment. I can imagine the sight and sound of a Bronco overhead would be unwelcome for any terrorist or coca farmer.

Yeah those Broncos were flown by us pilots from a US Company called DynCorp and under contract by the US Embassy in Colombia and the US State Department. The Bronco play a magnificent role for the Colombian military against the FARC and other rebel groups in the internal colombian conflict. But the real key role of those COIN Aircraft was the A-29B Super Tucano. Colombia bought 24 of them to Brazil and since they arrived the start attacking the FARC. another player was the A-37 wich from that aerial plataform the Colombian Air Force use Joint Direct Attack Munition or JDAM´s bombs attacking famous FARC leaders such as Raul Reyes and Aka Mono Jojoy.

Just threw $4 away on Amazon prime for a 50min documentary on the OV-10 Bronco.

Thanks a-lot @santana for fueling this impulse buy...
