CARTAGENA, Colombia (Aug. 27, 2018) A tug boat pulls alongside the Whidbey Island-Class Dock Landing Ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44) as the ship pulls in to Cartagena, Colombia for a scheduled port visit. The Gunston Hall is on deployment supporting Southern Seas, which is an annual collaborative deployment in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility where a task group will deploy to conduct a variety of exercises and multinational exchanges to enhance interoperability, increase regional stability, and build and maintain regional relationships with countries throughout the region through joint, multinational and interagency exchanges and cooperation. Exaclty, now out of service in the Colombian Air Force. Mostly almost all atack planes of the Colombian Air Force were COIN for obvious reasons of the internal confict. Here the FAC still are Flying the A-37 Dragongly.
