Other Post So, how was your day?

She lived in a convenience store and was well loved and didnt bother anyone. Was telling the GF I will steal that cat one day cause it would follow me occasional to my building. One day the store closed permanently over night and she was gone. Saw those cat feeding groups and asked about her, told me she was in a shelter... viola.

Vet seems to think she is a happy cat, as she resisted being fed medicine but never really bit them and she would paw but not scratch. So there.

I may be over feeding here though lol

Portuguese authorities mentioned "induced atmospheric vibrations" in the Spanish lines (we buy almost all our electricity from Spain) but the Spaniards politely laughed at that.
It seems a comission will be created by the EU to "investigate" and make a Nice report in 6 months .
The smartphones still had batteries after 12h so the Youth was able to endure. But if it had lasted some 72h as some predicted initially i have no doubts ppl would have started going at each other throats

Now the lunatics that raided the Supermarkets and bought tons of tuna cans and ectoliters of water are trying to return that to the shops lol

Wireless network didn't go down? Fairly good backups, if no.

People often don't have anything on the phone to do without it.

Worst part is probably food going bad. Few stores have backup power.
 
You guys are good people, calling you family maybe would be a bit much, but still - we sometimes argue, are bitter but at the end of the day we’re all mostly cordial to each others.

Today is day of celebration for me too, I was able to buy ground beef!

We've been having this shortage of ground beef. Caused by the fact that we only have two (2) large chains basically in monopoly in groceries. They have beat the producer prices down so much that it's not profitable to raise cattle anymore. So we are so rich that we can't even buy ground beef.

Greens are overjoyed over this and have been sharing their soy recipes in newspapers and x.

20's, what a decade.

there are reports in UK that our grid suffered disconnects from several power stations, so there was something going on, but it didnt trip out anywhere.
 
We get bitch slapped by mother natire with typhoons every year almost all half decent houses have power back ups. The power companies are able to reconnect lines within hours of disaster.

Was surprised that it happened in Europe.

@PEMM, she already sleeps where my rifle is stored. So the take over attempt in inevitable.

Vodafone died around 14:00
The other 2 operators managed to Stay more or less functioning , i had to ask a colleague for his mobile to call my wife around 15:00.
There was no acess to websites but phoning and sending/messages was more or less possible, you just had to keep trying.
Also one thing is missing in the more modern smartphones: radio!
 
It os the year 2025, and American president becomes Pope and the European has lost all power in theor households. It has been almost a week with millions having no access to pornhub… war is inevitable
