The rest of the world is watching: NATO and allies capitulates to Taliban demands.

Then again, I'm beginning to think that the capitulations to the demand of the Taliban is in the best interest of NATO and allies. I wonder how much they paid the Taliban or what deals they offered for them to "stop" refugees from getting to the airport.

I mean with all the SOF there and assets nearby the Talibs dont feel a squeeze? Something doesnt add up... unless you are willing to admit that after Georgia and Ukraine the west totally got their balls cut. Cause if I'm Ukraine, I would be rethinking about that hardline stance in Crimea, knowing full well if a bunch of ragheads can check the West, how much so an army with actual teeth on them.
The taliban set a trap for withdrawal & we [coalition] walked into it with eyes wide open & now we're paying the consequences. So we behave ourselves, smile to our enemy to reach our collective successful mission outcome to save the lives we can. There will be plenty of time to smack their pee pees later & deal with a President that threw us under the bus. For now Buzzy is being a very good boy, still have a few kids to take fishing some day.

Yeah, my point was more on why the Allies are not being more aggressive in pushing back the deadline and letting more people in. It doesnt have to be a shootout but exerting influence with the possible outcome of not having your way. Thus it seems like "because it is convenient" the refugees are limited and the Allies doesnt look like they really dont want the refugees.

Also ever notice that in a lot of Indian cockpit videos online there's like 5 people in the cockpit and they are all making call outs... weird

We are tasked with a mission objective to evacuate our Embassy staff, DK Nationals, other Allies, partner Afghan workers & all their families that need to get out that may be killed if they can't get out. For now the taliban, while not helping & can be downright difficult for the locals that are trying to evacuate, are being relatively cooperative because they hate us & want us gone. They dealt us a shitty hand but we are making the best of it to meet our objectives. We've had to be creative & do & see things that are unpleasant that will visit in our sleep for awhile. We're doing some sketchy sneaky stuff that will make a good read in a few weeks. There was always a plan B for getting out the wicked smart people that will be necessary if the taliban want to run their hospitals, banks, food supply, power plants, sewer treatment plants, airports, trains......& all the infrastructure that holds a country together. They're leaving......& the taliban have just figured that out.

Like I said its an advantageous arrangement for both sides to control who passes through.

We don't have enuf airports. US President Biden knows this.......

Some Filipino security contractors have decided to stay in Afghanistan as they seem to be working without the Taliban harassing them. So outside Kabul it seems to be other occupied areas are back to "Normal"

English please Ivan ;)

I wouldnt call them scum, western liberals and leftists just show how advanced the the Western nations are in their ways of living, that they have totally lost touch with reality. You can see here in the Philippines even, the more "woke" people from the Northern part or living in the capital. The woke ones talk about equality and treating the world equally and understanding, the ones from the South enjoys his starbucks too but just a tad more rough around the edges.

The woke sjws, is right in terms trying to achieve a more equal treatment of humanity and I actually have high respect for those who have seen things but remain steadfast in their stance... It's just that they need to understand theres some part of mankind that needs killin.

Not the only one . The story above has been going on for about a week now which has inadvertantly turned into a bit of a spat . Apparently the charity has a plane chartered but are struggling to get to the airport plus I don't know how it will tie in with the Taliban's statement that no more Afghan nationals can leave .
