I have it on good authority that these boys are NZSAS, having just repelled a taliban assault, downtown Kabul.

The guy on the right, as the one facing the camera clearly has the patch of a SeAL team on the front of his vest.

I was going to said that. about the patches.

As I understand it, the person on the left is Norwegian FSK, the person on the right NZSAS.

This is the images about New Zeland special forces in that incident in Kabul

The person with the visible face is Steve Askin.

After leaving the Unit, he died in a helicopter accident while part of the Christchurch Port Hills fire-fighting effort a few years ago.

My kids and I visit the remote crash site every year to check on a totara tree planted there in his memory.

I’ve got a feeling a few of these are ADF SOCOMD rather than Team guys.
You're right on the money there @Flagg, the official tag for this photo series is here;

Due to their clandestine nature, few know how the U.S. Navy SEALs (Sea, Air, and Land) became the widely known and feared warriors they are today. This famous cadre grew from humble beginnings on the beaches of Fort Pierce, Florida, to warriors tasked with some of the most high-risk missions known in history. Although not officially designated until 1962, from the beaches of Normandy to the jungles of Vietnam, SEALs have had a direct impact on history. Their quick study of unconventional warfare and guerilla tactics helped them become experts in 20th century combat.
