The largest sub of their navy, 400 feet. Housed four aircraft which I did not use. The hangar was under the conning tower. They

took off from that catapult. It was never used as intended to bomb the Panama Canal and installations along the U.S. Pacific coast. The war came to an end before it could be put to use. A Tamiya kit 1/350 scale.
