A machine gun team from Fox Troop, 2nd Sqdn., 3rd Cav. Regt., (Fort Hood-based) mans an observation point during the troop’s National Training Center mission as opposing forces June 1-10, 2018 at Fort Irwin, California. The team acted as the security for the Javelin gunners in the event the opponent sent in dismounts to clear the hilltop.

I see that the U.S. 3-color Desert Combat Uniform is still in supply and issued to troops who serve as OPFOR Augmentee's to NTC's OPFOR. *Anyone here know when these were brought back into the inventory? And is this also worn by soldiers of the 11th ACR? The last I heard the uniform was phased out in 2002, when NTC doctrine switched to the GWOT-focus in Afghanistan.
